New structure to strengthen hotel group’s commercial operations
January 22nd, 2026
Core Hospitality is entering 2026 with an updated organisation of its commercial department. The changes are designed to create clearer responsibilities, closer collaboration, and an even stronger focus on both sales performance and professional guest communication.
The new setup took effect at the start of the year and includes a revised structure within the booking department, along with strengthened leadership of the company’s corporate sales efforts.
“We had a strong 2025, and now we are taking the next step by implementing a structure that creates even better conditions for focus, development, and continued progress. A more streamlined organisation gives us clearer accountability, sharper direction, and a stronger foundation to elevate both quality and sales across the commercial department,” says Catharina Hallberg, Commercial Director at Core Hospitality.
Booking department split into two specialized teams
To increase focus and ensure a more targeted approach, the booking department will now be divided into two specialised teams, each with clearly defined responsibilities.
Jeanine Andersen has been appointed Head of Central Reservation and will be responsible for managing all individual reservations via phone and email. She will also act as the primary point of contact for the implementation and further development of Core Hospitality’s new telephone system, as well as an upcoming new email system.
Patrick Menzies has been appointed Head of Group Sales and Reservation and will be responsible for leisure and group sales, alongside the administrative coordination of group bookings and ongoing process optimization.
This new division is expected to create smoother workflows, clearer ownership, and more efficient handling of both guest enquiries and group requests—while further strengthening overall sales efforts.
Corporate sales strengthened through clearer leadership across markets
As part of the overall strengthening of Core Hospitality’s commercial operations, Gritt Pitz will take on overall responsibility for corporate sales in the newly established role of Head of Corporate Sales.
Going forward, sales teams in Denmark and Norway will report directly to Gritt, supporting closer collaboration, clearer priorities, and a more unified sales approach across markets.
