New Danish hotel operator established

A new Danish white label hotel operator has been established for the Nordic hotel market. Core Hospitality is a sister company to Zleep Hotels, but contrary to the hotel chain, the operating company is independent of brands, ensuring that it can run everything from hostels to full-service hotels. Several synergies are created for Core Hospitality as it can draw on Zleep Hotels’ strong, central organization.

As a white label hotel operator, Core Hospitality is especially focused on operations. The organization behind gets more flexibility with hotel projects where other brands than Zleep Hotels are a better fit. Core Hospitality already has one confirmed project in Copenhagen with Moxy Hotels, Marriott’s new brand focused on the next generation of travelers. The establishment of Core Hospitality thus creates further growth potential for the organization.

“We have known for a long time that Zleep Hotels were to operate other types of hotels than modern economy hotels. It was an obvious next step for us to establish Core Hospitality to develop and operate hotels with other brands than Zleep. The operating company is a strong addition to our pipeline of Zleep hotels in the years to come,” says Peter Haaber, CEO of Core Hospitality and Zleep Hotels.

Easy choice for outside investors

As a hotel operator that is independent of brands, the company is flexible to operate and cooperate with several hotel brands and owners. The company will do both management agreements as well as lease contracts, which are more common in the Nordic region. Core Hospitality and Zleep Hotels’ joint organization creates natural, horizonal synergies within several business functions, such as Revenue, Accounting, HR, and Marketing.
