Moxy Bergen hires Sales Manager prior to big launch
March 8th, 2021
Hotel operator Core Hospitality has hired a local Sales Manager to represent its upcoming Moxy Bergen property.
Marriott International’s Moxy Hotels is due to open on the waterfront of Bergen in Norway soon. Now, the lifestyle hotel has hired Kristin Torgersen to take on the new role as Sales Manager. Kristin is from Bergen and has a strong background from the hospitality and tourism industry with more than 14 years of sales experience from companies such as Nordic Choice Hotels and Cruisespesialisten.
“Kristin is the perfect match for us at Moxy Bergen as she has the guts and spirit to be a fun and inspiring Moxy sales representative. At Moxy Hotels, we always look for Crew with moxie – and we believe Kristin has the energy, positive attitude and courage to represent Moxy and Marriott sales for our new property in Bergen. Her sales and customer experience from former positions will definitely be a strong benefit for us, and we are thrilled to have Kristin onboard the Moxy team,” says Monica Selvik, General Manager at Moxy Bergen.
A perfect Moxy brand match
Moxy Hotels is Marriott International’s spirited lifestyle brand that strives to become as much a destination for locals as travelers. The young and young-at-heart culture at the Moxy brand is a perfect match with Kristin’s personality, which is spirited, thoughtful and fun.
“I am very happy to be part of the journey at Moxy Bergen. The brand speaks to my heart as it finally offers a different type of hotel in the city. My style matches the brand as I always want to show our business guests that we understand their company by thinking out of the box and giving them a creative tour. They will hopefully not forget me nor the hotel product. And this product will be exceptionally fun to sell,” says newly appointed Sales Manager of Moxy Bergen, Kristin Torgersen.
Kristin becomes part of something bigger than just Moxy Bergen. The hotel is operated by Danish management company Core Hospitality and the brand is owned by the global hotel group Marriott International, thus affiliating it with the loyalty program Marriott Bonvoy.
